Subscription terms

Coaching Terms

These are the billing and commitment terms for ongoing coaching with Project 97. They apply from the moment you set up a subscription, and you’ll be asked to agree to them at checkout.

They sit alongside your signed Coaching Agreement, which covers the parts specific to you — the services you selected, your movement screen, your health disclosures, and your consent about training content. Nothing here replaces that document, and nothing here limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

01What you’re billed

Ongoing coaching subscriptions are billed as a recurring card payment via Stripe, every week, starting on your commencement date and continuing on the same day each week.

ServiceWeekly12-week total
Programming + weekly check-in (online)$60$720
Programming + Coaching (online)$85$1,020
Weekly 1:1 session (in person)$130$1,560

All fees are in Australian dollars and include GST. Setting up your subscription authorises Stripe to charge your nominated card automatically each week. You can update your card at any time.

Receipts are issued by email for every payment. Each one is a tax invoice showing the GST component.

Billed separately, not by subscription: initial and subsequent consultations, fortnightly sessions, focused reviews, and General Coaching sessions are paid per session at the time of service, by card through Halaxy. Clients outside Australia pay for consultations in AUD at the international rate, by card through Stripe.

Overdue or failed payments may result in service being suspended until the balance is cleared.

02Minimum term

All coaching subscriptions carry a 12-week minimum commitment. The 12-week totals are set out above.

This exists because twelve weeks is roughly the point at which the coach–client relationship and meaningful training adaptations actually take hold. It isn’t a lock-in for its own sake.

03Cancelling, changing, pausing

  • Within the 12-week minimum: 2 weeks written notice is required. Early exit beyond that is at the practitioner’s discretion, for genuine circumstances — injury, hardship, relocation.
  • After the minimum term: the subscription continues week to week. Cancellation requires 7 days written notice.
  • To cancel or change: email or message Chris directly. You don’t need to go through a payments portal, and a cancellation is only effective once it’s in writing.
  • Pauses are assessed case by case and reserved for special circumstances — injury, medical need, bereavement. Where you can still train safely, the program is adapted to keep you moving rather than paused.
  • Changing your regular weekly slot is subject to availability.

04Attendance

  • Cancellations must be given in writing before the 24-hour mark. Cancellations inside 24 hours are charged 50% of the session fee.
  • No-show without contact: a warning the first time, the full session fee the second.
  • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows on a recurring weekly slot may result in that slot being released to another client.

05Face-to-face delivery

  • In-person sessions are delivered in Brisbane, QLD — currently at Fitness Cartel Aspley, under an independent licence arrangement.
  • Project 97 operates as an independent business. This agreement gives you no contractual relationship with the host facility.
  • Project 97 holds its own professional indemnity and public liability insurance ($20M), independent of the host facility.
  • You may separately be subject to the host facility’s own entry conditions or waivers. Those are additional to these terms, not part of them.

06Rebates and claiming

  • Face-to-face sessions may be claimable through your private health insurance as exercise physiology extras. You’ll be given the receipt you need to claim.
  • Online programming and coaching are not claimable.
  • Eligibility and rebate amounts are set by your health fund and are yours to confirm. Medicare (CDM), DVA and NDIS each have their own referral or plan requirements.

07Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If you have a concern, raise it with Chris directly in the first instance and it will be worked through promptly.
